socle (nona, tri and di, 2022) is a set of modular sculptures — going from a pedestal to a pillar — arranged in various ways. Semi-open, they can be fitted into one another or spread out at different intervals. Depending on composition and point of view, overlapping lines arise, light reflects and shadows are cast — conditional on revealing their closed or open side. The distinct aspects of the sculptures emerge, vanish and get lost in each other, becoming a changing urban landscape, presenting architecture on a strange scale.
